FASHION CLOUD and Nyon merge

Titel: Fashion Cloud

The Hamburg start-up company FASHION CLOUD merges with the Dutch company Nyon. The B2B retail start-up FASHION CLOUD enables a fast and uncomplicated exchange of marketing and image material between fashion labels and fashion retailers via its platform. Through the merger, the product range can now be significantly expanded and the international presence strengthened. Nyon has expertise and products in fashion buying and FASION CLOUD for content and order. Cooperation between suppliers and retailers in the areas of pre-order, post-order and content exchange can now also be made more efficient. After the merger, the business will continue under the name FASHION CLOUD.

David Schaap, founder of Nyon and today one of the four managing directors of FASHION CLOUD, explains one of the most important reasons for the merger: "After meeting the founders of FASHION CLOUD, we quickly came to the conclusion that we were pursuing the same goal. We share the vision of an efficiently functioning wholesale market, and all see the need for one central platform that offers solutions for purchasing, sales and marketing."

FASHION CLOUD has been a member of the Deutsche Börse Venture Network since May 2018. The start-up has 50 employees in its offices in Hamburg and Amsterdam. All employees and the two management teams will continue to work for FASHION CLOUD.
