GoEuro closes US$ 150 million financing round

On 23 October, the Berlin travel start-up GoEuro collected one of the largest financings of the year in the German start-up scene amounting to US$ 150 million.

The Series D round was led by Kinnevik AG, a Swedish investment firm and Temasek Holdings, a global investor based in Singapore.

With this financing round, GoEuro has doubled its previous total capital. With the new capital, it plans to expand outside Europe. In addition, the company intends to drive the improvement of its product.

The five-year-old company has been member of Deutsche Börse Venture Network since May 2016. It offers its customers a platform through which travel connections can be searched and booked. GoEuro is present in 36 markets throughout Europe and has around 27 million users every month.
