Insurance robo-advicer Clark collects $29 million in financing round

The Frankfurt-based fintech start-up Clark received a $29 million Series B funding. The round was led by the fintech investor Portag3 Ventures, and VC fund White Star Capital, with participation from a number of existing investors.

With its application, Clark manages and purchase the insurances of their customers, spanning the full range of life, health and property insurance. According to Dr. Christopher Oster, CEO and co-founder of Clark, the investment will be used to focus on growth to cement the digital insurance management as a standard in Europe. Therefore, they will invest into their teams in Frankfurt and Berlin, especially in marketing and technology.
