Orderbird closes multi-million financing round

Orderbird, the cash register system start-up, has completed a new financing round. The “multi-million investment” comes from the old shareholders Digital⁺Partners and Carsten Maschmeyer as well as the new investors Makre, a family office, and the business angel Max Iann. According to Orderbird, the new funding increases the company's valuation to €60 million.

In addition, Deutsche Bank granted a credit in seven-digit height. Orderbird wants to use the money to be able to offer gastronomes microloans and a bank account specially tailored to them in future.

The company was founded in 2011 and currently has 110 employees in Berlin and Vienna.
